Celine was named after Celine Dion. She was born and raised on Penang Island, known for its food and multicultural society. In 2022, she came to Australia for a university twinning course to further her tertiary studies.
She has graduated from the University of Wollongong with two Master's degrees in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Marketing. Currently, she works part-time as a barista at a cafe. Celine is passionate about singing and fitness; her typical weekend involves a nice brunch after a run.
One of the main reasons she joined AMSA is the sense of community it provides, which helps her feel connected while away from home. She also believes that Malaysian culture is unique and should be shared with the world, to showcase the wonders of Malaysian cultures and foods.
