About Hon. Heng Lee Lee

Heng Lee Lee is a dedicated Malaysian politician, currently serving as the state assemblywoman for Berapit in Penang.

Known for her commitment to public service, she has been particularly active in advocating for welfare and women's rights.


Heng has worked on numerous initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for her constituents, particularly in areas such as education and community development.


About Hon. Lee Khai Loon

He was born on March 29, 1978, in Bukit Mertajam. He received his early education at SJKC Seng Keow and SJKC Lay Keow. Khai Loon then continued his secondary education at SMJK Jit Sin, Bukit Mertajam before pursuing studies at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Property Management.


Engaging in non-governmental organization (NGO) activities after completing his higher education, Khai Loon was appointed as the secretary for the Asian Students Association (ASA) based in Hong Kong from 2003-2005. He also founded and convened Youth for Change (Y4C) from 2006-2008.


Khai Loon currently holds the position of Director of Communications for the KEADILAN State Leadership Council (MPN) of Penang and is also the Chief of KEADILAN Bukit Mertajam Division. A former Information Chief of the KEADILAN Youth Wing, he was appointed as a Council Member for the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS), Selangor from 2009 to 2013. In 2013, he was first elected as a Member of the Penang State Legislative Assembly in the General Election on May 5, 2013. He has now been re-elected as the Machang Bubuk State Assemblyman for the third term.


Lee Khai Loon, a legislator entering his third term in the Penang State Legislative Assembly, has pioneered various social innovation initiatives such as participatory budgeting at the grassroots level. His dedication to empowering and involving the people in decision-making processes has enriched the fabric of democracy in Malaysia.
